We are proud and honored to be the 1st Place recipient of the Frontier Days Parade Best Theme Float! Adwin is a gender neutral name meaning “an artistic creative person”. Its origin is from the country of Ghana. Our Adwin is an artistic creative being and reminds everyone to develop their creative talents and enrich their community. This year, Fort Dodge celebrates its 150th year as an incorporated town. The creative talents of our citizens has made, is making, and will continue to make Fort Dodge a great place to live.

"Finally Spring" by Joe DeLuca Joe DeLuca is a well known Michigan artist. In the early 1950s, Joe DeLuca was exposed to the history of art as well as contemporary views. His alma mater, Bowling Green State University in Ohio, was where his development was inspired by Prof. Paul Running. In the 1960s, while studying at Michigan State University, where he received his Master of Fine Arts degree, he became immersed in the abstract expressionist movement. DeLuca taught at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This work was purchased by Pete and Alee Tampas and gifted to the Blanden
