CLASSES & EVENT INFORMATION
All classes require pre-registration - Register online, call 515-573-2316,
or stop by Tues-Sat, 1:00 pm-5:00 pm
unless otherwise noted by the Art Educator
Youth Classes: Enrolling in Classes
Please register your child in the appropriate class listed for their age and grade level in school. We ask that children 6 and older attend class without a parent or guardian present. Children 5 and under should have a parent or guardian present.
Youth Classes: Clothing
Children should come dressed to be messy. One idea would be to give your child an old adult shirt to wear, with the sleeves and bottom edge cut short.
Youth Classes: Snack
Fruit juice individual carton drinks and individual small serving cracker or cookie packets are offered occasionally during each class session. If your child has a food allergy please notify the staff at time of registration.
Adult & Youth Classes: Class Cancellation Policy
If it is necessary to cancel a class the museum will call or email each registered participant. If the registration was paid in cash, the cash will be refunded. If paid with check, the check will be returned. Please remember to include your phone number when you register for a class. All classes generally must have a minimum of six paid registrations in order to go forward.
Adult & Youth Classes: Artwork Policy
Due to limited classroom space, works must be picked up no later than one week after the class, unless otherwise noted. Works that are not picked up will be discarded.
