Introduction to Kitchen Lithography

Experience the magic of printmaking using everyday household materials in this fun and accessible workshop. Participants will create an original drawing, learn the basics of the lithographic printing process, and use aluminum foil, cola, and oil-based drawing materials to produce multiple prints from a single image. Explore the principles of image transfer, mark-making, and printmaking chemistry while creating unique works of art. No prior experience is needed, and all materials are provided. By the end of class, participants will leave with their printing plate and a collection of finished prints.
