14+ Mixed Media, The Alt 60s-90s Music

Broaden your 2D art skills as you dive into the art of the 60s-90s alternative rock world in this mixed-media workshop.  In the first class, students will learn about the history of designs from album art, promo photos, and styles that transcend time.  Students will pick an era to focus on and pick an art project that would embody that era.  In the second class, students will experiment with DIY staples such as graffiti, journal and poster design, printmaking, paper marbling, sticker design, and marker design for/on clothes.

All tools and supplies will be provided. Scholarships for class and materials are available.
